HOOFDA® Where Heritage Meets Art & Every Piece Tells a Story
HOOFDA® is a heritage apparel brand born in North Dakota, blending art, storytelling, and tradition. Founded by Roberta Quintero, HOOFDA® transforms hand-drawn illustrations of hoofed animals into wearable art that celebrates the land, culture, and rural life that shaped her upbringing.
Growing up on a farm near Pekin, North Dakota, Roberta found inspiration in the prairie landscapes, sunflower fields, and wildlife surrounding her home. Her first design, “Feels Like Home,” captured that spirit, a powerful bison illustration layered with symbols of family, freedom, and the open plains. From the Meadowlark, North Dakota’s state bird, to the golden sunflowers that color the countryside, every detail tells a story of strength, connection, and heritage.
What began as one meaningful piece of art has grown into a collection of original, hand-drawn designs featuring beloved hoofed animals such as the Norwegian Fjord Horse, Swedish Dala Horse, Nubian Goat, Hereford Cattle, and North Dakota Badlands Horse. Each design reflects craftsmanship, culture, and a deep respect for the animals and land that inspired them.
Today, HOOFDA® stands as a symbol of artistry and authenticity, an invitation to wear your story and carry a piece of the prairie wherever you go.
